Edward Taylor, professionally know as, Young Vet, is a rapper, singer & songwriter from Chicago, Illinois. Performing since a teenager with a well known Chicago based youth performance group, he's performed at many prestigious venues & festivals such as Lollapolooza, Ahh Fest, & the legendary Chicago Theater. He has shared the stage with many big names including Rhymefest, Twista & Willow Smith. Personally invited to perform at the White House's 133rd & 138th Easter Egg Roll by then first lady Michelle Obama. CBS News' Cynthia Bowers hailed him an "Eloquent Rapper". In 2012 he released his first mixtape entitled "Pentality" via DatPiff. Performing all over Chicago gaining local attention and much respect from the hip hop community, earned him a spot in the 2017 #HelloHipHop All City Cypher & an opening spot in Austin, Texas' South By Southwest festival(SXSW)in 2018. He released his first studio album "#BetVet" October 2018. He has recently started his acting career starring in GTV Comedy's comedy sketches and shorts "Englewood, Chicago - Real Estate Commercial" (2018), "Wrestlefest 88'" (2019), and "Murder Rap Records" (2019).
