Joy T.J. Riley

Joy is an award-winning author, speaker, playwright and filmmaker. She has mentored and assisted six writers to become authors. Joy is formerly a contributing writer of the nationally distributed publication "Divine Voice Magazine." She is the executive producer/writer of a documentary film. Joy is the writer, producer and director of the stage play, "Broken Pieces: Some Family Wounds Run Generations Deep" which debuted Memorial Day weekend 2018 and completed two show runs. "Broken Pieces" the film, nominated for the Black Continental Independent Movie Awards (www.bcima.com), was on Amazon Prime Video in the U.S. and U.K. but is now available on Cinistream. Joy is also an associate producer (pre-production) of the upcoming feature film "Doggmen" starring rappers/actors DMX and Eric B. She is the screenplay writer, director and a producer for the upcoming film franchise "The Empty Walls." Joy is the president of a media company and has written reviews for various books, films and network television shows. She is a member of Broadcast Music Inc. (BMI).
