Mariel Goffredi is a singer and actor from Denver, Colorado, and has a BFA in musical theatre from Colorado Mesa University. She now resides in Los Angeles, California, and is pursuing an acting career in television and film. The food she most resembles is a pomegranate. She has always had a passion for performing and loves to bring people together through their shared experiences of a play or movie. She received the Vintage Theatre Newcomer Award in 2018 for her performance as Agnes in Agnes of God. Mariel had the pleasure of singing at Carnegie Hall with her Chamber Choir from CMU, directed by Monte Atkinson. Singing with the rockin' band One Way Ride has brought her many joys over the past few years. The Original Dickens Carolers have welcomed Mariel as a member for two seasons. She also performs regularly with Dinner Detective, an interactive improv murder-mystery show. This year, Mariel has ventured into other mediums of performing including sketch comedy, film, immersive theatre, and YouTube videos. She enjoys being creative in all sorts of ways including writing songs, amateur photography, creative writing, acting, singing, directing, and filming. Mariel takes joy in singing many genres of music such as jazz, pop, musical theatre, rock, praise & worship, folk, classical and choral. She has been a vocalist in many cover bands. She also loves to be involved in as many acting opportunities as possible, including theatre, film, TV, commercials, and sketch. Notable roles include Christine Colgate in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (StageDoor Theatre), Agnes in Agnes of God (Vintage Theatre), Gabriella in Boeing Boeing (CMU), Luisa Contini in Nine (CMU), Maryanne in When We Were Young and Unafraid (Firehouse Theatre), Evelyn in The Shape of Things (CMU), Estelle in No Exit (The Three Leaches) and Margot Frank in The Diary of Anne Frank (Spotlight Theatre). Other interests are hiking, reading novels and actor biographies, dancing, going out on the town, Harry Potter, being goofy, sleeping, The Office, and board games.
