Joel Sloss

Joel Sloss is an experienced security professional in the media industry, a frequent speaker at worldwide IT and media security events (PGA "Produced By", NAB, IBC, SIGGRAPH, MESA, ...), and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Content Delivery and Security Association (CDSA). Joel has also written magazine articles, books, and papers for over 25 years across a wide variety topics, including how to build secure content-creation workflows in the cloud. More recently, as a security strategist, Joel has been advising major studios, production, and post-production companies on policies, processes, best-practices, and technologies for new-media development in the connected age. This focus also puts him in a Producer role for visual effects and editorial on new animation and live-action projects.
