Parker Hough (pronounced "huff") is a recent high school graduate and consummate actor currently without representation. It's probable that finding a talent like him is what gets you up every morning with a spring in your step. To the point: invest 5 minutes of your time to view two of the videos provided ("Try Me" and "Our Last Summer") and it's likely you won't need to read further. Parker is a graduate of Westmont High School in Campbell, CA (San Jose area; for your purposes, he lives next door). He is just 18 years old- and currently (2020) enrolled in the theater program as a freshman at Foothill College with a sole focus on acting. He performed in the first play produced his freshman year. The second play during his freshman year he had to forgo because he was busy filling seats at the South Bay Musical Theater production of She Loves Me, in the of role of Arpad Laszlo, the only principal role for a young adult in the musical. Parker's experience has thus far been the stage, not before the camera. His principal interest has been musical theater- since stage work is what they do in high school. He is first an actor, and second a singer. He seeks to work in film and/or television, as well, or instead, depending how it all unfolds. What makes Parker such a special talent? A proficient actor will deliver a fully-fleshed, three-dimensional character with the requisite qualities and traits as prescribed by the script and deepened by their experiences and backstory. But through his passion and enthusiasm, Parker imparts a luminosity to his character. He delivers his character with his body and his voice- attaching to every scripted word and action the precise movement, gesture, or inflection of voice that will render that moment real and true. This talent gives his character a vivacity and dynamism that stretches beyond the three-dimensions and is a powerful vehicle for delivering subtext and depth of character. Parker is easy to cast. Fair or not, the number of roles for which he'd qualify is maximized by the fact that his demographic fits so squarely under the bell curve for physical characteristics (refer to the demographic sections of the profile). Yet he possesses key physical traits that render him anything but homogeneous with his counterparts. Lastly, this is written by his father. Though he'll walk onto a stage like he owns it (as he would before the camera), he's a humble young man. He's been taught to walk the talk- with maximum walk and minimal talk. This makes him a very good team player and very easy to work with. Note: the film listed in his filmography appears as an extension of his minor involvement in the school film project of a friend. He does not act in it, and his association with it reflects not his acting talent (because it can't), but reflects only the respect others have for his contributions to their own efforts in filmmaking.
