Joshua Hopkins

FORMER FIREFIGHTER SSGT.JOSHUA HOPKINS. I joined the military at 18 and left my small Mississippi town behind. I served from 2004-2010. My service included Operation Iraqi Freedom. The military helped me become the person I am today and my experience set me up for what I am now doing for a living. After returning from service, I worked for the UFC Gym Corporation for 3 years until I eventually branched off and started Josh Hopkins Fitness, LLC. During the formation of Josh Hopkins Fitness, my social media began to boom and led to a following of over half a million inspired Instagram followers. I came to the realization that inspiring others and helping them to lose weight and feel better about themselves was my passion. I turned my number one passion in life, into my career, and my social media platforms allowed me to do so quickly and efficiently. Using social media, I am able to reach people across the world to help them with their health and fitness goals, whether by inspiring them or training them. My outreach has included military members whom I relate to on many levels. One of which is coping with PTSD, which I was diagnosed with after my service. I receive countless messages from current and former military members asking for advice on dealing with their PTSD or related issues. It is an honor to take time to write each and every one of them back, in hopes that I can help someone get through the day a little easier. I currently live in Los Angeles, California, where I train clients in-person. Outside of the greater Los Angeles area, I am able to train people via online training by offering customized programs that can be completed and monitored from a distance. I also recently launched my fitness app, which quickly ranked in the 'Top 75' of the health and fitness category of the app stores. Every day I challenge myself to become better than the day before, while inspiring as many people as I can along the way. I am very grateful for everything that has happened in my life and work to pay it forward by helping as many people as humanly possible.
