Ann Berry

Ann Berry is an experienced broadcaster on live TV news and Chief Investment Officer at Wheelhouse. A one-stop shop for content, talent, brands and capital, Wheelhouse was launched in 2018 by Brent Montgomery, in close partnership with Jimmy Kimmel. In addition to investment platform Wheelhouse Partners, the group includes production enterprise Wheelhouse Entertainment; in-house brand marketing division Wheelhouse Labs; digital media arm Wheelhouse DNA; and a real estate footprint that includes private social clubs in New York and Los Angeles, and The Village, a multi-acre waterfront innovation campus in Stamford, CT. Ann focuses on investing in high growth tech and consumer businesses. Ann appears on the BBC, Bloomberg, CBS, CNBC, CNN, Fox and Sky News, and Yahoo Finance. Ann's TV segments on economics, business and politics have ranged from Brexit to global trade wars, US consumer behavior to retail industry trends, tech start-ups to IPOs, and Federal Reserve policy to the 2020 US election. She is an experienced speaker at conferences and as a guest on live radio. Ann is also a Senior Advisor to Cornell Capital, the multi-billion dollar private equity platform based in New York and Hong Kong. She was previously a Partner and investment committee member at Cornell Capital. As a private equity executive, Ann has led $1.5 billion+ of investments, acquiring companies. Prior to joining Cornell Capital, she spent 10+ years at Goldman Sachs across London and New York. A seasoned Board Director, Ann advises CEOs on growth, innovation, operational excellence, financing, and geopolitical trends. She was the Chairwoman of PureStar, the US hotel services business where she remains a director on the board. Ann earned a B.A. in Economics from Cambridge University (Double First) as a scholar at Trinity College. She received a UK Kennedy Memorial Scholarship to attend Harvard Business School, from which Ann graduated with an MBA with High Distinction and as a Baker Scholar. Based in New York City and often in LA, Ann was born and raised in London.
