Drue Horne

Drue Horne is a native of Florida, born Vernitha Drucilla Lowe. Later in life started using Drue as a nickname and it stuck. She's been a Mom for decades, and also played one on stage. She also played a Grandma on Amazon Prime called SELF the Series. She's played a Detective, and a wife off camera and on camera. Shows to watch for: "The In-Law Gang" staring Clifton Powell, "Aspire" staring Laura Poindexter, "What Did I Just See", The Next Assignment and of course Self were she plays Gigi, the neighborhood Grandmother. She is part of the Winner's Circle Academy that is operated by Wendy Alane Wright, she's trained with Deryn Warren top acting coach, Sean Perez (UK) actor and Talent Agency owner, Amy Lyndon actress and acting teacher, Mike Pointer commercial acting teacher, Judy Kain actress and acting teacher, and she's also trained the also trained the Meisner Method at the Houde School of Acting with Jessica Houde, this training consisted of Meisner, Script Analysis, and Improvisation, and also locally in Atlanta trained with Javon Johnson of the Oval. She has also attend "Get Scene Studio's" in Atlanta. She started performing in local church plays, and from there she started with a group that traveled to in the southeast states where she performed, and was the stage manager. She got married to Edward C. Horne Jr., hints the last name change and the two had 1 son together and each came into the marriage with 1 child each. Her with a son and him with a daughter. They formed a nice blended family.
