Stacey Read

Stacey Read was born and grew up in Zimbabwe. She is the daughter of her Zimbabwean mother Thombizodwa and British Father David. Her parents always encouraged her to pursue her passions, one of which was gymnastics in which she represented Zimbabwe at a young age. She first started acting in her Senior School drama club, which she joined to build her confidence. It was there performing in school plays and competing in the Speech and Drama eisteddfod that she found a love for acting. After completing her A-levels she moved to the UK to train for Stage and Screen at Performance Preparation Academy.
