Ilaria Amadasi is a bilingual actress born in Parma, Italy. She attended the prestigious Teatro Stabile di Genova in 2005 where she was chosen as the female lead in the show "The Castle" by Franz Kafka, and in "Time of darkness" by H. Mankell. Ilaria moved to the United States in 2009 because of her deep desires to expand her cultural horizons. Since moving to New York she has collaborated at the Off-Broadway 45 Bleecker Theater, Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute, Horse Trade Theater Group, Kairos Italy Theater and Frog & Peach Theatre Company. New York credits include: Shakespeare with Frog and Peach Theater Company (Midsummer Night's Dream - Peas Blossom, Taming of the Shrew - Widow, Measure for Measure - Mariana, King John - Blanch), KIT Kairos Italy Theater (The Woman of Buzzati - Telefonista, Figments), the Drafts Ensemble (The Second Life of Gideon Finn - Madeleine Potter, It's All in the Punch - Lady Tingleton ). She is currently working as an actress between Europe and the US in both theater and film. Her latest film works include: "Penny On M.A.R.S." Walt Disney Company Production, "Il Testimone Invisibile" Warner Bros Entertainment and Picomedia Production, "La Guerra è Finita" Palomar Production. Her most recent work "Quando le sirene smettono di suonare" is currently in post production and it will be seen in the major international film festivals this summer.
