Aimée is an American actress of Vietnamese, Japanese and French descent. She speaks several languages including Vietnamese, Japanese and English. She is a second generation Asian American raised in California, Texas and New Mexico. Growing up as an Asian minority, Aimée faced differences and discrimination. She was bullied growing up for her racial appearance, spoken languages and ethnic background. She found comfort in watching TV shows and movies because it allowed her to escape into a different world and freed her. Through television, Aimée realized that we lacked diverse representation across the board. She saw stereotypes dominating the TV screen that told her who she was and what others thought of her. She wants to be able to tell her story through her vision, voice, and experiences. Aimée would like to be a part of a representation that breaks the limitations placed upon Asians. She wants to represent inclusivity that shows we are of any profession, type, personality, physical appearance and characteristics. Aimée believes that we as humans fit in any story and role regardless of our race/ethnicity.
