Tracey Reynolds was born and raised in Tampa, Florida, where she was first bit by the acting bug in middle school drama class. After high school, Tracey moved to NYC to study at the New Actors Workshop and pursue a career on the stage. Her early career included roles in off-off Broadway and regional productions of The Front Page (MacArthur/Hecht), Stage Door (Ferber/Kaufman), My Sister Eileen (Fields), Last of the Red Hot Lovers (Simon), and more. She was also a troupe member of the Little People's Theatre Company in the West Village. Inspired by her work in children's theatre, Tracey returned to her studies and obtained her B.A. in Theatre/Education from the University of South Florida, and thus began teaching Drama in the public school system. Then in 2001, she founded The Creativity Gym, a Tampa-based school for the arts that offered music, dance, acting, and art classes for kids of all ages, where she also produced community theatre productions. After many years of teaching, in 2019 Tracey felt the pull to perform again, and returned to her own training and acting career. Since her return to acting, she has appeared in national brand commercials, independent films, major-cable network television shows, and professional stage productions. She also regularly books voiceover work in animation and audio book narration. Tracey is absolutely over the moon about this later-in-life renewal of her acting career, and believes wholeheartedly that when you do what you love, the universe opens all the doors you need to keep moving forward!
