Shalom C. Obiago is a first-generation Nigerian-American actor from Atlanta, GA. He attended Dekalb School of the Arts, where he found his passion for theatre and film production. Since then, he's performed at several festivals, including the Georgia Thespian Conference. He continued his love for performance at the University of Pennsylvania, while he studied Communications and Data Analytics as he made the transition to film. Since then, he's worked on projects with industry icons such as Sheryl Lee Ralph and Loretta Devine ('First Day Back"). Shalom's experience spans both in front and behind the camera, as he has worked at entertainment companies including BET Networks and Monami Entertainment. He is also a filmmaker studying at the University of Pennsylvania, where he explored the intersection of scholarship and cinema. He is a major proponent of telling stories that reflect diverse perspectives and encourage a more connected world. Shalom aspires to inspire creators of color to be agents of their own stories and create on their own terms, while building the skill sets to become powerful forces in the entertainment industry. Shalom is represented by DDO Artists Agency (NY) and Houghton Talent (ATL).
