Salieu Sidique was born January 13, 1991 in Washington DC. He grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland outside of DC by way of his father. Salieu would graduate from Clarksburg High School in 2009 from his mother's residence in Clarksburg Maryland. He would later attend college at Fisher College in Boston, Ma. Salieu spent 6 years living in Beantown. Salieu worked as a recruiter for a year in Boston, Ma before being accepted to American University in Washington, DC for a master's program in producing. Salieu returned home and moved to Washington, DC for the next two years to attend American University. In 2017 he gained his Master of Arts in Producing for Film, Television, and Video. After graduating Salieu acquired funding for his first short film project through the Montgomery County Arts and Humanities Council. With a budget of $4000, Salieu was able to produce Red Line with his high school friends (Brandin Walker & Kwanza Nicole Gooden). The trio of friends then screened Red Line at the Cannes Film Festival 2019 via the Short Film Corner. Salieu resides in Los Angeles, California.
