Betty Quinn

Betty Quinn is the daughter of two Irish Americans, with a dash of Lithuanian, who have performance coursing through their veins. The niece of actress and stage director Rosemary Newcott, her father studied with Sandy Meisner and her mother studied at ACT in San Francisco. Betty grew up half in Ramsey, New Jersey and half in East LA creating a very interesting person. When Betty was growing up in East LA she began studying at an elite Beverley Hills commercial acting studio with Lombardo Boyar. Then tragedy struck when her grandmother had a stroke and her family had to return to Ramsey, New Jersey and put her dreams on hold as they cared for her. During that time Betty got to experience a normal suburban lifestyle. Always up for a new perspective she embraced small town life while there and for a time she was a varsity/competitive cheerleader. Unfortunately, cheer-leading could not satisfy her need to perform. Thats when she chose to lean into her musical abilities. Betty studied piano and jazz vocals with Dave Graham and began to play local coffee shops. After graduating from Ramsey High she studied Vocals and music management at University. She did not complete her time there because she discovered that, as much as she loved music, her passion was for acting. She "doesn't get off on discussing music theory she gets off on discussing nuances in acting."
