An extremely underexposed writer with an IQ of 137.9, living in a village of 80 people at the northern tip of Lake Superior. Shaawen is 100% Ojibway native (aboriginal/indigenous/First Nations person) with the talent of Shakespeare. The name itself is a variation of Shaawenebenez (Zhaaweni binesi), which means in ojibway, The Southern Thunderbird, a name given to him by the Medicine Man, Dennis Black, and elder, Albert Mandamin. Shaawen is Bear Clan (Makwadodem) from Pays Plat First Nation Reserve, Treaty 51 (Pagwashiing). He is the fourth son of politician and business owner, Frank Achneepineskum, and nephew of Harry Achneepineskum of the Dam the Dams political activist group in the 1970s against the James Bay Project, and is related to Norval Morriseau, the artist. Shaawen went to school at Lake Superior High School in Terrace Bay, then moved onto Confederation College and Lakehead University years later. Shaawen is the author of the "Nova Episodes" novel series which is published on Amazon.
