Ayelén Nilsson Ruisniemi

Anna-Karin Ruisniemi Nilsson is a makeup artist from Sweden, known for I Want To See Gellivare Burn (2019) and How does it feel to be alive? (2019). She was born in the small city Piteå in the northern of Sweden. In 2011 she studied Theatre in High School in Luleå and fell in love with acting. She later on moved to Amarillo, Texas, United states and continued to study theatre and choir. When she returned to Sweden, she educated herself to International makeup artist & hairstylist. Since then, she have been working as a bridal makeup artist while continuing to have a side job as a caregiver. In 2019 she had her breakthrough in the film industry with the short movie I Want To See Gellivare Burn, directed and written by André Vaara.
