Øyunn

Siv Øyunn Kjenstad who goes by her middle name Øyunn is a drummer, artist and actress from Norway based in Copenhagen. She has made the soundtrack for as well as acted in theatre productions such as "Tour de Chambre" at The Royal Theatre in Copenhagen and "Desire under the elms" ("Begjær under almene") at The National Theatre in Oslo. As a solo artist she makes honest alternative hip hop/pop/indie where she sings, raps and plays drums. Her concerts are energetic, free and outspoken. Martin Skovbjerg (Sticks and Stones) directed the music video for her debut single Reach Out. Nordic Music Review called it "sophisticated stylish" and wrote "Norwegian songwriter Øyunn somehow manages to effortlessly fuse a range of styles together in debut track "Reach Out"." She has traveled the world with various constellations as a drummer and singer, the last three years with Danish act Efterklang. On their latest albums "Altid Sammen" (2019), "Lyset EP" (2019) and "Windflowers" (2021) Øyunn contributes with drums and vocals, as well as live on tours in USA/Canada, Mexico and Europe.
