Kyle Nicholaus Irish-Gorvin was born in Iowa City, Iowa to loving mothers Barbara Jean Irish-Gorvin and Maureen Theresa Irish-Gorvin. Growing up in the Midwest United States, Kyle learned from his parents the radical power of kindness and self-determination. At the age of seven, Kyle's birth mother, Barb, developed breast cancer and would pass four years later in 2011, fighting until the very last breath. The struggle of those four years laid the foundation of the man Kyle would later become. As Kyle grew older he sought the arts where he could in his small community, starting initially in high school theater productions and then pursuing the community theater circuit before finally making his way to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in the fall of 2018 to pursue Conservatory training at Point Park University. During his time at Point Park, Kyle studied with current and past industry professionals, sharpening his skills in Musical Theatre, but also rounding out his education with additional courses in directing and writing. In addition to the education, Kyle also found time for student film projects, readings, and two theatrical productions, one of which was in the newly opened Pittsburgh Playhouse, home to Point Park's stage performances. After graduating in 2021 with a BFA in Musical Theatre, Kyle moved to Atlanta, Georgia with his partner where he now continues his artistic endeavors alongside her.
