Hristo Lolov is a Bulgarian actor with Greek heritage based in London. Growing up in his family's VHS store, movies was the family's passion. Spending days alongside his father in the shop Hristo's love of film grew and his dream to act was born. Throughout school Hristo loved performing on stage, often securing a leading role. He then went on to perform to audiences of over 300 at Karnobat Theatre, cast as Tony in Danaela Milkova's Hristo Botev and then as the lead in Velko Miloev's Escape. Hristo's desire to act on screen was still alive and he and his filmmaker brother took action. Together they wrote, directed, performed and edited their first short film Beyond the River. This film won 2 awards, the BiT National Television award for Best Student Film and The Karakachan Society Award for Best Ethnical Short Film. Their production company Wollof was now formed and the brothers went on to make three more short films, A Hole (In) Time, Blood and Stuck. Together they continue filmmaking with several more projects currently in production.
