Her performance career began when she was 8 years old in ballroom dance competition, and she received training in dance & stage acting, getting into experimental theatre as a teenager in St-Petersburg. She has Russian, Jewish and Mongolian ancestry, her native language is Russian, she is fluent in English & Mandarin, and also speaks basic Italian & Japanese. Her passion for Asian cinema, philosophy, culture, languages and martial arts brought her to Shanghai in 2008. In China she has learned about Chinese calligraphy & art, and she has explored several martial arts including Shaolin Kung-fu (Wushu), Jeet Kune Do, Wing Chun, Muay Thai and Pekiti Tirsia Kali (PTK), a complex Filipino martial art system which involves the study of empty hands, impact and edged weapons application. PTK became her passion, and she was recognized as female self-defense instructor of PTK China Federation in 2016. Her signature martial arts skill is the ability to handle double and single weapons, including knives, swords, sticks, weapons of opportunity and firearms in practical scenarios. Some of her movie characters exhibit these skills. She has benefited greatly in her acting work and stunt scenes from her martial arts background, performing her own action sequences. The combination of dancing background, stage performance and martial art skills lead her to participate in multiple art and commercial projects, as an actress and model, working closely with directors, photographers and film makers, both in Asia and Europe since 2008. As a Painter, her artwork has been curated for several exhibitions in Shanghai Art galleries.
