Harry Bentil

Harry Bentil was born and raised in Ghana, as a kid he was always passionate about acting, which he got the opportunity to participate in at church, influenced mainly by the mother (Georgina Valentina Asante Adjei) who was a Sunday school teacher. In 2002 while in secondary school, he sent an email to the producers of the biggest Entertainment and Education show on Ghana Televison (Nextlevel) telling them how he hoped to host the show in future. In 2005, his acting career started, picking up a minor role in the popular Television series (Home sweet Home) directed by Emmanuel Appiah. In 2006, while going through the emails from the next level show viewers, he chanced on his own email he had sent 4 years back, at age 17, he was already the presenter for the show. He went on to host the show for 3 years, during which he also attended the Ghana institute of Journalism where he studied Communication studies and graduated with a Diploma. In 2010, he went back to the University of Ghana where he did his Bachelor of fine arts and majored in Directing. He worked with Z Tv as the head producer for some months after which he moved to the Multi Media Group of companies to do his National service with JoyPrime Television. He set up his film production company, HB7studios in 2014. Harry Bentil has gone on to established a successful career as a writer, director and producer for television and film.
