Yujun Chen

Yujun Chen was born on September 12, 1991 in Fujian, China. He moved to the United States in 2015 for her Master of Fine Arts in Cinema. She is a producer, director, and writer known for Dust in the Wind (2019). Growing up in Fujian in the South of China, in a similar culture and experience to the landmark film "The Time to Live and the Time to Die", Katherine looked to Hou Hsiao-Hsien as her own imagined life's director. Her obsession with this movie set the stage for her lifelong exploration of cinema, drawing her attention to other genre such as French New Wave, and in so doing, an exploration of herself and the world around her.
