Michael's film acting debut was in sixth grade in a nutrition video for health class. Fourteen years later he started acting in earnest by playing the supporting role of Jason in the independent Christian film "Counter Column." Since then he has focused more on cinematography, falling in love with celluloid enough to endeavor to shoot his first "serious" project, a low budget ghost story, on 16mm motion picture film. Having run out of money before its completion, Michael still yearns for the day to once again thread the old Arriflex and call out "camera speeding" while sweating under tungsten lights on a campy haunted house set. Until then, he is content to shoot digitally for any type of client or genre of project.
