Enzo Vogrincic

"Shy, sensitive, always available, and willing to do anything" — J.A. Bayona Enzo Vogrincic is an Uruguayan actor known for his portrayal of Numa Turcatti in J. A. Bayona's Oscar-nominated film Society of the Snow (2023). Vogrincic developed his career mainly in Uruguayan independent theater. He studied at the Margarita Xirgu School of Dramatic Art and was part of the play When you walk over my grave (2019), by Sergio Blanco, presented in Montevideo and Buenos Aires. In 2021, Vogrincic starred in the film 9, playing a professional soccer player inspired by Luis Suárez. He later appeared in Argentine productions such as Porn and Ice Cream (2022) and Yosi, the Regretful Spy (2022). His leading role in Bayona's film, based on the accident of Uruguayan Air Force Flight 571, gave him the opportunity to travel to festivals such as Venice or San Sebastian, earning him international recognition.
