Uldus Bakhtiozina is Russian artist and film director. (B. 1986, Leningrad) Uldus is the first Russian speaker in the history of the most prestigious American conference of intellectuals and world leaders TED, where she delivered a speech in March 2014 and May 2017. (Links below). In October 2014, Uldus was named the BBC by one of the 100 women of the year changing the world for the better. In March 2017, Uldus became a finalist of the prestigious Laguna Art Prize. In January 2018, Bakhtiozina became a member of the Royal Society of Arts, London. Bakhtiozina's works have been widely exhibited in Russia, as well as in England, Germany, Canada, the USA, Hong Kong and Italy. Along with solo exhibitions, the artist's works were exhibited in the same exhibition as Marina Abramovich, Jan Fabre, Yoko Ono and Damien Hirst. Uldus's works are included in the permanent collections of the Ruya Foundation of Contemporary Art in Iraq; four works from Russ Land series are in the permanent collection of the Faberge Museum in St. Petersburg. Uldus is also works for fashion magazines and brands, bringing her unique artistic vision to the world of fashion. In June 2016, Vogue Italy named Bakhtiozina «The Best Fashion Photographer» at PhotoVogue. In 2019 she became Gucci Beauty Ambassador and created a series of photographs inspired with Alchemist Garden Perfume.
