Raven Heart

Raven Heart was born in Montana to a Mexican/Native American Air Force family, moving from base to base with the breathtaking roar of the fighter jets always nearby, sowing the seeds of a dream to become a pilot and astronaut but excelling in many areas and living half her life near Cambridge, England. Her adult life has seen her in business management, web design, social media marketing, burlesque dancing, as an artist and most passionately, as an actress, filmmaker and formally educated portrait photographer. She continues to help determined and passionate people within the film industry, working as an actress, photographer and filmmaker in San Antonio, Texas while helping to head the Native American Entertainment Coalition of Texas as their Vice President. 'Our ancestors' stories and our stories need to be told, and who better to tell those stories than Natives in this industry? We're here to help them do that and get the opportunities they deserve, as well as consulting with those who have respect for our culture and wish to represent it accurately. Furthermore, the mainstream needs to realise that a majority of Native Americans are just the same as any other American, working high degree positions and living respectable, 'normal' lives, we just happen to be indigenous to this land. With the help of others in the film industry, I aim to make sure we're well represented in film without clichés and stereotypes.'
