Eric is a musician, singer, and songwriter from Pennsylvania, U.S.A. In addition to his very strong vocal ability, he is proficient on six other musical instruments with guitar being his instrument of choice. He is best known for his uncanny ability to impersonate Paul Stanley of KISS. Eric has played all over the United States in several KISS tribute bands; most frequently with Cold Gin - The Original KISS tribute band from New York. Eric was only in high school when he formed and started playing live with his first band, State of Shock, which focused mainly on writing original material. They recorded their first album "Scratching The Surface" in 1992 with former Dirty Looks bassist, Jack Pyers sitting in the control room. They developed a devoted regional following, but in 1994 with musical trends at that time unfortunately favoring a different style of rock music, State of Shock decided to disband. However, they still had some great songs on the shelf and felt that they had unfinished business, so in 1996 they recorded their second album "Caution To The Wind" with Leon Karpovich engineering and even did some live shows; including opening for Warrant on their Belly To Belly tour. In 1999, Eric had the opportunity to audition on bass for Survivor (featuring Jimi Jamison) in Memphis, TN. He joined the band and began rehearsals for the "Empires" tour. However, two days before starting the tour, with dates beginning in Switzerland and Germany, the tour was abruptly "postponed" due to a pending lawsuit between Jamison and the original members of Survivor. Eventually the tour was canceled as Jamison decided to re-join the original members for a Survivor reunion which ended Eric's tenure with the band even before it got started. Eric has been performing live regularly with Sapphire, an 80s cover band from Pennsylvania. Mostly playing festivals, fairs, and casinos in PA and surrounding states, Sapphire has developed a reputation for being a great live, professional act. They have even been voted "Best Live Entertainment" four years in a row by the Republican Herald Reader's Choice Awards! They have also notably opened for Quiet Riot and Bryan Howe's Bad Company. Eric also plays acoustic shows with JEM & occasionally puts on his lipstick to pay tribute to his favorite band by doing KISS tribute shows with Cold Gin-The Original KISS Tribute Band on the east coast and is expecting to also do shows in 2022 with KISS Revisited on the west coast of the United States.
