Planet X founder Matthew Philip Cannon is a confident and hard-working self-starter with the creative ability and passion for crafting visually and editorially engaging content for a public audience. Hailing from a working-class background in Great Barr Birmingham, England, Matt has devoted over seven years to write, produce, raise finance and direct his first independent Sci-Fi feature film Revolution X, which will be released across the USA and Canada in the summer. He has also produced scripts for the The Tenth planet and No forgiveness, which are both now in the production. Matt is a highly skilled and experienced fashion and advertising photographer, writer, director, and producer, with over 30 years of commercial experience within the advertising industry, working on many budget levels and delivering first class content for blue chip clients and creative agencies. With over 30 years of production and direction experience, and a solid understanding of the value of Intellectual Property Rights and brand and concept ownership, Matt has put together a commercially attractive and exciting business Planet X Concept Creation ltd. Matt has a strong insight into working creatively with talent and professionals across the board and feels he is now ready to make a major impact in the world of Sci-Fi, and is looking forward to releasing a large slate of films over the coming years.
