Matthew Payne

When Matthew Payne was 15 years old he was visiting a cemetery in the Biloxi, MS area and tripped across a grave that was supposedly known as a local legend. The man would lure teenagers into his barn and then proceeded to strap them to the posts and torture them with various farm tools. None of the bodies were found until after the death of the man after suffering from multiple stab wounds from a pitchfork that one of the teenagers used to fight back. When Matthew fell on the grave, he immediately felt sick to his stomach and felt like someone was grabbing his ankles trying to hold him down. Ever since that moment, Matthew has always wanted to investigate more and more paranormal phenomena in and around his area. When Matthew left for college at the University of Kentucky he met Andie Gallagher, another individual, obsessed with the paranormal as she continues to the day as an active medium and is able to hear and see spirits that have something that they want to say. Since the young age of 5, she said that she has always been able to see and hear spirits and communicate with them. After some discussions and a few lock-downs in the Kentucky area, they decided to join forces and go on the road, traveling around to locations all over the south. Now with the Spirits of the South series going into its third season, Matthew and Andie have once again joined forces with paranormal video bloggers and superstars Blaze Knight and Vyxsin Piper. With this powerhouse, they have been received an outrageous amount of response from fans and owners that want more answers about the spirits that visit them on occasion.
