Bo Uong (22) is a Cambodian-American film, voiceover, commercial and stage actor, raised in Prince George's County, Maryland, and based in Los Angeles, California. Classically trained, Uong's work mainly consists of executing representative roles in several college-level production workshops/student films at New York Film Academy's LA Campus, and obtained his BFA Degree in Acting for Film in May 2020. Uong also starred as one of the principal roles in original short, Lights Down (2019), appeared in rapper Jefe Replay's '4 Days' music video, and worked on TV Series, Bloodbath (2021). In March 2021, Uong signed with Firestarter Entertainment (commercial), booking commercials for Simple Modern, MethFreeLACounty PSA, and One Peloton. Uong also received extra mentorship under Shaun T. Benjamin, creator of Divine8Acting System and director of A Fighting Chance (2016). Uong's latest project, I Wish I Never Fucking Met You (2021), directed by Jacob Charton, premiered at the Director's Guild of America (DGA) for Outset: Young Filmmakers Showcase. Raised in PG County, Uong possesses both a standard American accent, and a regional DMV (D.C., Maryland, Virginia) dialect. In addition, Uong is of full Southeast Asian decent, understanding both Khmer language and culture. Off-camera, Uong loves to maintain well-fitness, binge watch Japanese anime shows, and actively hoop at local basketball courts.
