Currently in his junior year at Yale, Adrien is seeking representation. having obtained SAG-AFTRA membership on the back of his stand-out background work on Damien Chazelle's Babylon, starring Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie. In April 2022, Adrien is playing Richard in Richard II at Yale. Agents are welcome to attend and/or request a showreel. Looking to pursue acting from a young age, Adrien trained at leading drama schools in the UK and the US (including admission to highly selective programs such UK's National Youth Theatre, and UCLA). He landed a number of lead roles in school theatre productions at Eton College and now Yale. Besides his background work on the upcoming Babylon, he also worked on several critically acclaimed and/or Big Budget movies including Trevor Nunn's Red Joan with Judi Dench. Born to an American and Italian mother and French father in London, he has triple US, French and Italian citizenship, and as such the right to live and work in the US, the EU, and the UK. English is his mother tongue; he can speak with English and American accents and is fluent in French. Acting and Directing: At Yale, Adrien promptly rose to the top of the acting scene. In addition to playing Richard in Richard II, and being cast as a lead in Equus (Dr. Dysart), he landed the only lead male role in The Clean House at the renowned Yale Dramatic Association's Spring Mainstage in his first year, Peter Pan in Lost Girl and Angelo in Shakespeare's Measure for Measure. In junior high school, he was briefly represented by Independent Talent Group, but had to part ways to attend boarding school at Eton College because of its dual emphasis on academics and theatre. Following in the footsteps of other Eton graduates such as Eddie Redmayne, Damian Lewis and Tom Hiddleston, he threw himself into Eton's theatre culture, attaining a number of leads including Mack the Knife in The Threepenny Opera. For the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Adrien directed and acted in Bacon, a play about Francis Bacon's tumultuous love affair, with the historic student-run theatre company Double Edge Drama. As a child actor, he was critically acclaimed as the Puck-inspired lead in The Dreaming, a musical based on A Midsummer Night's Dream, with the National Youth Music Theatre and multiple other productions. Singing and Music Production: Adrien's singing experience began at a young age. It included lead roles at the National Youth Music Theatre, paid work as Head Chorister at St Margaret's of Westminster Abbey, plus recordings for Saatchi & Saatchi and at Abbey Road Studios for the Weinstein movie One Chance as the voice of a young Paul Potts (James Corden). Attaining a Music scholarship to Eton College for singing and piano, he soloed with large orchestras at prestigious venues such as the Barbican Centre. Currently, he sings with the Yale Alley Cats, a world-renowned, internationally-touring acapella group, where he manages publicity and MC's their live performances. In September 2022 he will be joining the highly selective Yale Whiffenpoofs, known in the oldest and most recognized contemporary a cappella group in the world. Adrien also creates and publishes his own music under his own name on Spotify. Film Production: When he was 15, Adrien's love for cinema and documentary led him to found a small production company, and has written, narrated, produced and edited a number of small documentaries, as well as music videos and short films, many of which are available on Vimeo. Most address social issues at the intersection of politics, sociology, biology, and medicine. During Covid, he produced an investigative journalist piece following Connecticut's growing anti-vaccine lobby from the inside. He has worked on several films and documentaries for various indie productions such as Hard Luck Love Song (2021) and Kitchen Tales (2020). Education: At Yale University, Adrien is double majoring in Film (with a focus on Documentary Studies) and Molecular Biology, with a strong GPA despite major time commitments to acting and music.
