Beata Migas is a Polish film director and screenwriter. From a very young age, Beata came in contact with art. When she was 7, she started to appear in performances in Dworek Bialopradnicki Theatre in Krakow. Simultaneously, she was learning painting and sculpture from the professionals. Till today, she paints breathtaking oil paintings. She is truly a Renaissance Man! As she said: "Over time, my passion for theatre boiled over into an interest in the film. Many times, taking part in phenomenal performances, I regretted that they are not recorded. I regretted, that things, which take place right now, will live on only in elusive memory of the audience gathered in the hall. I desired to preserve those pictures. Just then, I felt the first time, that I wish to make movies." Beata Migas graduated AGH University in Krakow. In 2019, she obtained a higher education degree in the field of Ecological Sources of Energy. A year before, she graduated post-diploma studies at the European Academy of Diplomacy in Warsaw with a specialization in Polish Foreign Service. Last years of technical studies she spent in Belgrade (Serbia), where at the same time she educated herself in Film School. Since 2016 Beata shoots her own, authorial movies, which concern topics of psychological and existential dilemmas, as well as, loss of human in the modern world. Regularly, her films take part both in domestic and international film festivals. In 2017 "Silesian Chain of Solidarity" was awarded by the International Forum of Young Leaders. Then, in 2018, "Study of smog" was recognized by In Short Film Festival in Lagos. This huge honor was an impulse for further work. Beata Migas is fluent in three foreign languages: English, Russian and Serbian. In 2016, she moved to Luxembourg, where she took up a job in European Parliament. Her task was testing the LISTELUN application, that is used in the voting process. In the next years, she was learning computer graphics and film editing. She was working in cutting rooms and graphic offices. Director attended plenty of international projects. In 2017, she went away to Serbia (Vrsac) in order to realize a project "ACT&ART". Its aim was creating the catalogue of graphic tools, which are beneficial in work with audiovisual materials.
