Born, February 25, 1992 in Winston Salem North Carolina to Michael DiBenedetto Sr. & Rosanne Cosentini, who quickly moved to New Jersey to raise Michael Jr. Growing up Michael played football all the way up until college where his dream was to play college football and hopefully take it to the next level. Michael wasn't sure where he wanted to attend college let alone where he would get accepted so he applied to every college in the state of New Jersey that had a football team. Surprisingly, to Michael, he got accepted to every school that he applied to. Still, not having a clue where he wanted to attend. The last letter of acceptance to come in the mail was from Rowan University. Having to make which was at the time the biggest decision of his, Michael decided to attend Rowan University. He didn't really know anything about Rowan University but something in his gut told him to go there, so he did. His freshman year he tried out for the football team. Unfortunately, being a late bloomer, Michael didn't have the experience, skill-set, or size to compete at the collegiate level and he didn't make the team. Having his dream crushed, Michael, surprisingly wasn't too disappointed. It was a long shot for Michaels dreams to come true due to only playing high school football for one year, his senior year and also suffering bilateral knee compilations his entire life. Focused on his academics, Michael graduated from Rowan University in 2016 with his bachelors in Health & Exercise Science. Post college, Michael needed a change in his life so he decided to drop everything and move to Las Vegas Nevada. Michael booked a one way ticket with nothing besides the clothes on his back and his cat, Riley and he was off to start the next chapter in his life in Vegas. As you can imagine, Michael had the time of his life in Vegas, but he needed to figure out what he wanted out of his life, career wise. After living in Vegas for a year, Michael decided that he wanted to pursue a career in acting. Michael had full intentions to move to Los Angeles California from Vegas but after carefully thinking it over he decided the best decision for him at the time was to pursue acting in New York City. After moving to New York, Michael landed his first gig in September 2019 in a Peloton commercial. From there, in just a few months, Michael achieved his first goal becoming SAG eligible in January 2020 by working on the production Lisey's story portraying a security guard for Scott Landon (Clive Owen). As excited as Michael was on becoming SAG eligible, naturally, Michael wanted to join immediately but unfortunately, at the time, Michael was broke. Being broke never stopped Michael for he always did whatever it takes to get what he wants and by March 2020 Michael was able to save just enough to put down his first down payment into the Screen Actors Guild but of course that was the same time the horrific COVID-19 global pandemic hit so like everyone else, Michael had to put his life on hold. After being quarantined for months, In August 2020 was when productions started filming again and Michael was getting swamped with work. Thriving during a global pandemic, Michael officially joined the Screen Actors Guild in December of 2020. Being new to the industry with absolutely no prior experience, Michael knows how hard it is to make it in the industry and knows how hard he has to work in order to work his way up. The best thing for Michael is that he sticks out like a sore thumb, no matter where the camera is, Michael will always do his best to get as much exposure as he can, and it shows. In his short time, Michael has been doing background and featured roles where he has gotten some really good exposure. Having his ethically ambiguous appearance, and being such a wonderful presence, the 6'5" 250lb actor has the ability to make a name for himself so be sure to keep an eye out for this upcoming actor.
