Carrie Leigh Dickey

Carrie Leigh Dickey is a stage and film actress performing out of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She was born in Canton, Ohio on August 30, 1978 to Danny Ray Pritchard and his wife Linda Lou Pritchard. She grew up in Monroe, Georgia. She is married to Luke Aaron Dickey, and they have a daughter Luscinda Dickey. Her childhood was full of performance: piano, hand bells, church choir, touring school choir, marching band (pit percussion), symphonic band (first chair flute), and musicals. As she grew up, she developed other artistic interest and eventually went to college for studio art. May 2000, she graduated Magna Cum Laude with Bachelor of Arts Degree in Studio Art and a Minor in Art History from Salem College. Her main concentration of studies was in oil painting with additional courses in printmaking and the bookarts. Since college, she has spent her time working as a teacher, artist, designer, and marketer. In 2019, Carrie was seen as Bibitty in the touring production of The North Pole Centennial Holly Jolliday Christmas Yule-A-Palooza! and as Mrs. Winthrop and a Dreamer in the musical The Secret Garden. Carrie's first filming experience was in 2020 with Spring Theatre's Digital Performance Project and the feature-film Lock-In.
