Aidan Christopher Collett is an actor, singer, and director in film and theater. He is the creator of Tumdetme Productions. Growing up in Hainesport, New Jersey, Aidan found his passion for acting through performing in musicals at Hainesport Musical Theater Club. After achieving leading roles in the Junior shows, he was soon encouraged to enroll in Musical Theatre International's iTheatrics acting camp in New York City. At Rancocas Valley Regional High School, Aidan was an active performer with Red Devil Dramatics, starring in both stage plays and musicals. His most notable roles include Wargrave in Agatha Christie's "And Then There Were None", Edna Turnblad in "Hairpsray", and Prince Topher in "Rodger and Hammerstein's Cinderella". Additionally, Aidan served as Thespian Society Troupe 1555 President, winning two Superior awards at the International Thespian Society festival. Aidan's passion for the arts brought him to Loyola Marymount University where he studies acting and film. He has been trained in Shakespeare, Meisner, and Stanislavski and continues to educate himself in the art form through personal study. As a member of the Del Rey Players, he has sung musical theater repertoire in DRP's Cabarets and has most recently performed as Pastor Manders in Ibsen's "Ghosts". In 2019, Aidan won the Spotlight Award at DRP's Cabbie Awards. On screen and stage, Aidan has played such notable roles as Joker in Spawn of Darkness (2018) and Nick Bottom in Red Devil Dramatics' production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream". In addition to work in film and theater, Aidan is a trained pianist as well as a classical, musical theatre, and jazz baritone. While studying with Dr. Erica Miller at Erica Miller Voice Studio, he won First Place at the 2017 NJ NATS Doris Lenz Festival. In his time at LMU, Aidan was a member of the LMU Consort singers. His inclination towards music pervades all work he does across the arts.
