Daijah Amir Toney

Daijah Amir Toney has an extensive artistic background inherited from her artistic family. Her mother, Danielle Dominique Nelson, is a published author, screenwriter, director, and film producer. Her maternal grandparents are both artists. Daijah began her acting career with the YouTube web series, In Love There's War, playing the role of Savannah Reece. Now, she's playing the role of Lauren Scott, the daughter of the main character in the upcoming film, Controlled. Daijah has been memorizing character lines since she was four years old - dancing in front of the television, and reciting every word in the Alvin and the Chipmunks movie. She has now turned that very thing into a career with script books bigger than she imagined. Beyond the camera, Daijah is a straight A student with a bubbly attitude, and a lovable personality. She's an avid reader, and a lover of The Land of Stories chapter book collection. She enjoys playing the piano, singing, dancing, drawing her favorite Disney characters, and playing with her little sister. Right now, Daijah is living in her dream, but she's still looking forward to perfecting her acting skills, and landing more roles to advance her career.
