Michael C. Howlett is a Sydney based stage and film actor, known for his roles in 'Slider' (2018) and the award winning short 'Love in the 21st century' (UK, 2019). Until recently, Michael had been based in London. Whilst there, he built up an extensive list of stage credits, most notably; A Midsummer Nights Dream (UK tour), Salome (Greenwhich Theatre) and The Winter's Tale (OSO Arts Centre). Michael is a highly trained actor, having graduated full time programs at both the Actors Centre Australia and the prestigious Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London. Whilst working and training in London, Michael had the opportunity to work with artists at the forefront of today's UK theatre industry. Some include; Mike Alfreds (National Theatre), Janet Suzman (RSC), John Caird (RSC/National Theatre) and Robert Icke (Almeida). Michael is also a theatre maker, having established his theatre company 'Precipice' upon his return to Sydney in 2019. The company is dedicated to staging classical texts with a strong focus on the works of Shakespeare.
