Ashley Nicole Flores

For over a decade Ashley Flores has been a leader in the entertainment and education space. She recently produced a proof of concept short film entitled, For Rosa, a narrative film inspired by true events. The film grew a massive audience online, and was licensed to HBO Max in 2020 after a successful festival run. She is (2021) developing the feature script. She kept the projects rolling in 2021 and most recently was a Segment Producer for Blippi's Treehouse, a popular preschool show that will be coming to Amazon this year. She also worked for the prestigious Peter Stark Producing Program as the Program Coordinator,Student and Instructional Advisor. As producer, she seeks projects and opportunities that can move the needle on diversity, equity and inclusion in the industry. Most recently she was selected for the 2021 PGA Create Fellowship. Ashley earned her MFA from the USC Peter Stark Producing program in 2020, and aspires to combine her passion for producing content with her love for education. During her time in the Stark program she worked for companies including; Hello Sunshine, Nickelodeon and Devon Franklin Entertainment. Before devoting her work full-time to creative producing, Ashley served as an educator, teaching students in K-12 and teachers. Soon after earning her M.Ed. in educational technology at Texas State University, Ashley put her degree to use providing workshops at national education conferences and consulting districts throughout Texas. Most notably she worked at a national level with juvenile justice agencies developing and implementing blended learning solutions for incarcerated youth. Throughout her time in education, Ashley continued to nurture her creative storytelling skills through a commercial production company she co-owned and operated, Texas Made Productions, in Austin, Texas.
