Jami C. Johnson

Writer / Acting / Production With a background in production and writing, Jami C. Johnson has been part a small part of the film and television industry for the better part of two decades. Starting out as a background actor on different films, Ms. Johnson worked as the prop master for "Picture of Priority" (1998). She wrote, produced, and filmed several short commercial features, and has since shifted her main focus to screenwriting. In addition to creating several yet-to-be produced full-length screenplays and television pilots, Ms. Johnson has worked as a mentor for young aspiring writers, as a part-time volunteer at 826 Valencia, a San Francisco-based non-profit organization that helps children between the ages of 8-18 build self-esteem through reading, writing, as well as screenwriting. Currently, Ms. Johnson is a film student at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia, where she serves as a writer on several episodes for the university-produced series "The Tour" (2020).
