Dave Ebert

Dave Ebert is a Chicago native that grew up in southwestern Virginia. In 2013, Dave rediscovered his faith and moved back to Chicago to pursue acting and performing to make a difference in the world and share his faith. Dave is known as a Christian Improviser, having founded Well Versed Comedy, a family-friendly improv troupe comprised exclusively of Christians. Dave attended improv classes at The Second City Training Center in Chicago as well as the GTT Improv Zoo. Additional training came from Westside Improv Studio in Wheaton, IL. Dave is a former professional wrestler, to which Dave often credits as much of his acting and improv training. While a wrestler, he used the moniker Big Boy Buddy Love, as he traveled throughout Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee, and North Carolina. In 2015, Dave married his wife Bobbie, and they reside together in Crest Hill, IL. Bobbie often works behind the scenes in the various productions in which Dave is involved.
