Rob LoManto, was born and raised in Northern NJ, Paterson and Garfield to Sicilian immigrants. He began his creative journey in the late-80's, when we wrote and co-starred in various comedy sketches and spoof films, with his childhood friends, in his native Garfield NJ. He began to write one-act pieces for the NYC stage - performed at the Manhattan Repertory, The Players Theatre, The Hudson Guild and The Workshop Theater. His one-act pieces "dollface", "Love, Sex and Making it Rain" and "Nonno in the Basement" are all festival winners. He is a multi-award winning Off-Broadway playwright (NYC). He is fluent in Italian and Sicilian.
