Nadiia Pavlyk-Vachkova

Nadiia never thought she would move to Los Angeles and successfully produce movies in Hollywood. She was born in Lviv - a beautiful city in Western Ukraine - and since 2001 has worked as a TV-journalist. Nadiia became famous in her home country for conducting in-depth journalistic investigations for the national TV channels. In 2010, she was awarded the Ukrainian equivalent of the Pulitzer Prize - "The Honor of the Profession". Nadiia's works earned her two nominations in the categories of "best journalist investigation" and "best storytelling in a difficult topic". After this success, Nadiia got offered the top manager position at her local TV channel and the lead position in the publicist project on the national TV-channel. At that time, Nadiia grew interested in developing her skills as a scriptwriter, and eventually she led an ambitious documentary project for national TV as head scriptwriter. By 2017, Nadiia had produced hundreds of episodes of different TV-shows for all the biggest TV channels in Ukraine. Through her career, Nadiia has worn many hats: scriptwriter, head scriptwriter, project manager, etc. The first season of the popular international show "The Voice: Kids" in Ukraine was written completely by Nadiia. For another project, Nadiia was one of the first authors to tackle issues of millionaires in the far economically depressed districts of the country and created the reality show "Millionaire - Life from the Beginning". She also created the first experimental Ukrainian science reality-show "Happiness in Vitro," showing Ukrainian audiences the science behind "in vitro" and the struggles of families who had decided to become parents with the help of the project. In 2017, Nadiia decided to expand her repertoire from script writing to show-running and as a result transitioned from TV for the filmmaking industry. For the past several years, Nadiia has branded herself as an entrepreneur and started working as an independent producer. She had often dreamed about shooting a feature film about a famous Ukrainian opera singer in co-production with Italy and Poland. In 2019 Nadiia came to Los Angeles to increase her knowledge as a producer in international co-production. Already she has garnered experience and acclaim, shooting and producing films in Southern California. Films produced by Nadiia have become an intriguing part of the world film landscape.
