Hope Madden

Hope Madden - an award-winning director, writer and producer based in Columbus, Ohio - is known for Godspeed (2020), Obstacle Corpse (2020), and A Seat at the Table (2021). A graduate of Ohio State University with an honors degree in Creative Writing, Hope spent nearly two decades as a film critic and journalist before directing her attention to making films of her own. Turning her enduring interest in cinema into a multimedia investment, she co-founded MaddWolf Productions in 2019. Hope wrote a back-page column for Columbus Monthly Magazine for several years. She's also published dozens of poems in a variety of respected journals, as well as contributing short fiction to numerous journals and magazines. Her first novel will publish through Off Limits Press in February of 2022. Hope is a member of Rotten Tomatoes, Cherry Picks and the Womens Film Critic Circle. She and her husband George Wolf endow a scholarship for Moving Image Production majors at Ohio State University.
