Katie Lynn Johnson is a Filipino-American actor based in Albany, NY. She is set to star in the upcoming short film "If I Could Tell You" - a project Katie wrote and is Executive-Producing with her team in Upstate New York. She is most recently known for her role as Brie in the BCDF film The Hating Game (2020) starring Lucy Hale, directed by Peter Hutchings. In 2018, Katie and her husband James formed the folk-pop duo "In The Valley." Their latest single, "Promised Land" ranked #6 in the Best of 2020 - Top Local 518 Countdown on WEXT Radio. In addition to performing, Katie has also had the honor of working as a professional vocal coach with students on Broadway National Tours, NBC's The Voice, and American Idol. She received her Bachelors degree in Music from Houghton College, where she made her Houghton Lyric Theater debut as Christine Daae in The Phantom of the Opera. Katie serves as Worship Director at Grace Fellowship Church in Halfmoon, NY. When she isn't acting or singing, she loves binging Netflix with her husband, rock climbing with her friends, and painting watercolor portraits.
