Rasé, better known by his stage name "Fernando Rasé" or "Ali Salah Rasé," is a contemporary artist known by his artworks as a writer, poet, songwriter, and visual artist. Making songs with a low-quality headband microphone, while locked in his bedroom was just the beginning of Fernando Rasé's musical journey. He has published books such as "Lágrima de Caníbal" (2016) "Silverio: siete canciones y una oración" (2017), an independent internet poetry mixtape called "Prieto" (2017), rap albums such as "OPUS 94", divided in two volumes: "Ornamentos para un santo 19 94_" and "Opus 94_" (2018), and his latest release "Ortolano" (2019). Fernando has a BA degree in Latin American Literature. He works as a frequent collaborator with the photographer and art historian Sofía Cala with whom he co-founded music festival "Vemergente mx" in 2018, and "Tarumba Creatives" (label in charge of selling art merchandising). Nowadays, he speaks weekly in the Pink polo podcast a radio program of his own and works as a co-director and scriptwriter at "Topatesta films," a production film house focused on creating content for digital media and TV.
