Francesco Monti was born on December 12, 1993 in Imola, Northern Italy, to Carla Bellini, a teacher, and Gian Carlo Monti, a municipal worker. In 2011 right after high school he created one of Italy's premiere entertainment website horror stab.com. During his early years, Francesco worked as a warehouse worker for Partesa, a truck driver and a website SEO specialist while obtaining his bachelor degree in Communication Sciences at University of Bologna. After college he moved to New York City where he enrolled at New York Institute of Technology and pursued his master in Film & Digital Marketing. During 2018/19, while in New York City, Francesco met different student and professionals within the film industry which aided in the creation of the web-series 'Metropolitan Mysteries' (2019). In 2018 he worked as a co-producer for a Chinese film titled 'Wandering' which is screened at film festivals in China. In 2020 he wrote and directed his debut short film 'Imprint' which is sent to different film festival in the US and in Europe. With the same team he produced and directed his second short film 'No Way Out' that received good votes from public and critic. In 2021 he directed a horror short titled 'Lisa'. In December 2021 Francesco moved to Atlanta (GA) where he became partner of an independent production company called 'Gold Piece Films'. From December 2021 to June 2022 he directed, produced, wrote and edited more than 9 short films among which: 'What Do Women Really Look For?', the horror 'Username', 'Duality', 'Activate', 'Below', 'Slept', 'Company', '4 Minutes' and 'Stronger'.
