Joan Bys

Joan Bys was born on March 2, 1967 in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. She studied dance from an early age, performing with The Pennsylvania Ballet at Penn's Landing and also at The Kennedy Center in 1999. She received a Bachelor's Degree from Temple University, and a Master's from California State University, Los Angeles. In 2017 and 2018, she won the World Pro-Am Ballroom Dance Championship. She appeared in Skid Row Marathon after assisting with the successful parole completion of one of the movie's runners.
