Elsi Industrius

Elsi Deyanira Contreras Industrius was born in San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic, second to last of five children. Her mother is Spanish mixed with African (father side) and her father is Spanish. Elsi has lived majority of her life between the Dominican Republic and British Virgin Islands. She was raised in the Dominican Republic until the age of five, after which her mother moved the family to the British Virgin Islands. Once she completed Elementary school, her mother sent her to the Dominican Republic to complete her Secondary Education and was returned to the British Virgin Islands after graduation. Elsi believes this is the very reason she is fully fluent in Spanish and English to the point most cannot tell she could ever speak or understand Spanish. Her dream of becoming an actress came when she had no other option but to move to BC, Canada with her husband and daughter after loosing everything to Hurricane Irma and Maria in 2017. She's actively working in the film industry in hope of booking a role in which she can share more of herself with the world.
