Hanane Bendisari

Hanane is a francophone Toronto based self-taught, emerging screenwriter, actress and award winning director with multiple immigrant backgrounds, filled with a sense of urgency to tell stories by creating audiovisual works that reflect her personal and at the same time shared feelings. In fiction, Hanane makes a point at keeping the real as a source of inspiration. In documentary, she aspires to touch and inspire, through the characters and their stories. Behind her works lives the desire that his films be useful, that they confront us with hidden and taboo realities.
